As a Private Members Club, we are able to keep our Bar prices low by subsidising the costs with Membership Subscriptions.
To come into our Club, you must hold a valid Membership, or sign in as a Guest in a Members company.
Joining our Club is straightforward, and so worth while! Just ask the 600+ Members that currently hold a Membership.
Membership runs from January to December each year for all Members, regardless of the time of year that you join.
At present, fees are as follows:
Full Members (aged 18-59 on 31/12/20) £35 annually + £10 joining fee
Senior Members (aged 60-79 on 31/12/20) £20 annually + £10 joining fee
Honorary Members (aged 80+ on 31/12/20) £0 annually + £10 joining fee
If you'd like to check out our facilities before you decide whether or not to join, simply pop into the Club whenever you are passing.
Speak to the Bar Staff or a Committee Member, who will happily show you around and introduce you to the Club.
Once you're ready to join, simply download and complete, or pop into the Club, collect and complete a Membership Application Form.
Once completed, hand your form to a member of Bar Staff, along with the appropriate payment, or send the form in to the address shown at the bottom of this page, along with a cheque for the appropriate fee (made payable to Buckhurst Hill Sports and Social Club).
Depending on vacancies, you will be invited to a Welcome Meeting, where you will meet with a small panel of Committee Members to discuss your application, and introduce you formally to the Club.
After this stage, your application will be taken to the next Committee Meeting, where it will be considered.
If successful, you will be contacted once your Membership Card is ready for collection. This card becomes your "key" to the Club, allowing you access through the security door.
Should your application be unsuccessful (which is very rare), you will be invited to collect a full refund.
